Locating a licensed professional is not difficult, however, first we should clarify that in the United States a broker’s license is technically only required and available in California and Florida. Therefore, you will not find licensed yacht brokers outside of these areas, at least not in the United States.

A good place to start when looking for a licensed or qualified broker is the IYBA, International Yacht Brokers Association. Not all of the members hold a license due to geographical location and local legislation. The ones that do are only found in the two states requiring yacht brokers to be licensed, Florida and California.

Just because a broker is not licensed doesn’t necessarily mean they are not qualified, as most places don’t require a license. Finding a qualified broker can be as simple as a phone call or a google search, however finding one that suits your specific needs might be a little more involved.

Many issues can come into play when we are dealing with yacht transactions. After all, our clients are some of the most discerning individuals in the world. Therefore, it’s a broker’s job to streamline the process of yacht ownership and assist the client in enjoying and maximizing the benefits of their investments. It’s a Broker’s job to save you time and money by helping you avoid costly mistakes. They locate opportunities and deals that may otherwise have been difficult or impossible to obtain without their assistance. A Broker assures that your interests and objectives are represented. Whether you are buying or selling a yacht, having a professional to handle your side of the transaction is always advisable.

First, a Broker needs to get to know you a bit. This helps to understand what motivates you individually. Every situation in this business is different and each client has specific dreams, ideas, and objectives for yacht ownership. It’s a Broker’s job to decipher the best path to obtaining these unique objectives. Buy, sell, build, timeframes, desired use/cruising grounds to name a few important aspects of purchase or sale.

Delta Powerboats is Scandinavia’s fastest growing motorboat brand. Since 2003, Delta has been leading the charge in boat design, innovation and sustainability and consistently produces award-winning, seaworthy and extremely efficient boats.

The award-winning 54 Carbon is the world’s first large production all carbon fiber boat. Designed for day excursions or long range cruising, the 54 is powered by twin or triple Volvo IPS drives which, when combined with her superior hull design and vacuum infused carbon fiber/divinycell/vinylester construction, allow her to achieve impressive speeds while minimizing fuel consumption.

Three ensuite cabins, a large salon and fully equipped galley area round out the 54’s Scandinavian designed and impeccably finished interior. Seakeeper’s zero speed gyroscopic stabilization is among the many upgrade options available on the semi-custom 54.

54 CARBON VARIATIONS

Building upon the success of the 54 Carbon, DELTA is proud to announce the availability of the54 Fly and 54 Tuna variants. The 54 Carbon was always designed with a vision of vertical additions and, with strong demand, these variants are now offered as part of the standard programme.

Delta 55 Fly Luxury Yacht Design

Both the Fly and Tuna variants retain the same lightweight all-carbon fiber construction of the 54 Carbon.

The Tuna variant is available as a factory order or aftermarket modification and retains the salon’s moonroof plus storage for paddleboards and other water toys while offering elevated 360-degree views for fishing and diving.

Owners can choose the height and layout of the Tuna tower to suit their particular mission. Spreaders, rocket launchers, and other items can be customized for each owner’s preferences.

Delta 54 Tuna Luxury Yacht Design

The Flybridge variant omits the salon moonroof for a carbon fiber floor on the flybridge level, with a completely integrated appearance that carefully preserves the elegant lines of the 54 Carbon, yet with access to full weather exposure and the true hair in the wind experience that so many owners have requested.

For those with a special mission or who simply love the feeling of operating their yacht from an elevated position, the 54 Tuna and Fly are sure to please.
